FAQ
Which option should I choose?
Without a chiller you fill and ice the tub by hand, which is cheaper to buy and more work to run. The 1HP chiller cools the water and holds it at temperature, which is what makes daily use realistic for most people.
What water volume does it hold?
The manufacturer publishes exterior dimensions but not filled water volume or filled weight. Ask an advisor before you commit to a balcony, a deck or an upper floor.
Why a stainless interior?
Stainless steel is non-porous and takes sanitiser and cold cycling well. The Svalvik uses an HDPE liner instead, which is lighter to maintain but a different look and feel.

Why the Aurland
The Aurland is the stainless-lined plunge in the range: a Canadian red cedar shell 37 mm thick, wrapped around a 304 stainless steel interior, in an oval form the manufacturer sizes for one to two people.
It is sold two ways. Without a chiller it is a cedar ice bath you fill and ice by hand. With the 1HP chiller the water is cooled and held at temperature, which is what turns cold exposure from an occasional effort into a daily habit.
