Wellness & Website Disclaimer
Everything IMPERVITA publishes — this website, our category guides, the Research Library, product pages, and anything an advisor tells you — is provided for general wellness and informational purposes. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment.
What we sell, and what we do not claim
IMPERVITA sells recovery, wellness, and longevity equipment for general wellness, comfort, relaxation, and lifestyle use. We are a retailer, not a manufacturer and not a healthcare provider.
Nothing on this website should be read as a claim that any product we sell diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease or medical condition. Where a manufacturer makes a specific claim about its own product, that claim belongs to the manufacturer and is reproduced as supplied — we do not adopt, verify, or extend it.
Speak to a qualified healthcare professional first
Heat, cold, pressure, light, and field-based equipment is not appropriate for everyone. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional — one appropriate to your circumstances — before buying or using any of it if any of the following may apply to you or to anyone who will use the equipment:
- An underlying health condition of any kind, diagnosed or suspected.
- Pregnancy, or trying to conceive.
- A cardiovascular condition, including low or high blood pressure, arrhythmia, or a history of cardiac events.
- Any prescription or over-the-counter medication, particularly one affecting blood pressure, heart rate, hydration, sedation, or temperature regulation.
- Sensitivity to heat or cold, impaired sensation, reduced ability to sense temperature or pain, or difficulty exiting equipment unaided.
- An implanted medical device — a pacemaker, defibrillator, neurostimulator, insulin pump, or similar — or implanted metal.
- A neurological or seizure condition, or a condition affecting balance or mobility.
- Recent surgery, an open wound, an acute injury, or an active infection.
- Any condition affecting circulation, respiration, or the skin.
- Use by a child, an older adult, or anyone who cannot communicate discomfort or leave the equipment unassisted.
This list is a prompt, not a complete set of contraindications. The manufacturer’s documentation for your specific product is the authority on who should not use it. Never use heat or cold equipment under the influence of alcohol or a sedating substance, and never use a plunge, sauna, or enclosed system alone where the manufacturer requires supervision.
Stop using the equipment and seek medical attention if you feel unwell, faint, disoriented, unusually short of breath, or in pain.
Individual results vary
Experiences and outcomes differ from person to person and from session to session. IMPERVITA does not guarantee any particular wellness, recovery, performance, sleep, comfort, or longevity result, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise of one. Any testimonial, case study, or example experience reflects that individual only and is not a prediction of your own.
The manufacturer’s documentation controls actual use
The manufacturer’s specifications, operating instructions, contraindications, warnings, safety guidance, labelling, and owner’s manual govern how a product is actually installed, operated, and maintained. Where anything on this website differs from that documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation controls.
Read the manual before first use, follow the stated session limits, temperature ranges, weight limits, and supervision requirements, and keep the documentation for the life of the product.
Confirming a product suits your site and your use
You are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable for the location and the use you intend before it is installed or operated. That includes electrical supply, plumbing, drainage, ventilation, structural support, clearances, and delivery access. Where installation is required or reasonably appropriate, use a qualified professional. The requirements and the limits of our responsibility are set out in our Terms & Conditions and on the Shipping & Delivery page.
Terms differ by product and by supplier
IMPERVITA sells products made by several different manufacturers and suppliers, and their shipping, production, cancellation, freight-damage, return, refund, warranty, installation and claim requirements are not the same. They differ from one product to the next on this website.
The terms shown on a product’s own page, and the terms applicable to that product when your order is accepted, control over any conflicting general summary anywhere on this site — including this page, our Terms & Conditions, and our Shipping, Return and Warranty pages — subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Read the Delivery, Returns & Warranty Terms section on the product page before you buy.
- Do not assume one product’s return window applies to another. Some products on this site are final sale outside a verified defect; others allow an approved return within a stated window, on conditions, and with a restocking fee.
- Do not assume one supplier’s freight-damage reporting deadline applies to another. The deadlines on this site are not the same length, and they run from delivery.
- Cancellation windows differ, and made-to-order products are stricter. Some products can be cancelled only within a short window after purchase, and once production or material allocation has begun a cancellation may carry a fee or be refused outright. Customised, special-order and made-to-order products can become non-refundable once production starts.
- Inspect freight immediately, before the driver leaves. Document visible damage before or while unpacking wherever it is reasonably possible to do so.
- Photograph the carton or crate, the shipping labels, and every damaged area — before the packaging is opened where you can.
- Note visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before you sign, where a receipt is used. Signing clean can end a damage claim.
- Retain all original packaging until the damage claim is fully resolved. Discarding it can end the claim.
- Contact IMPERVITA within the reporting deadline shown for that product. Missing a supplier or carrier reporting deadline may impair or eliminate a freight-damage claim, to the extent permitted by law.
- Do not refuse a freight delivery without authorisation. An unauthorised refusal can create original freight, return freight, redelivery, storage, carrier handling and restocking charges. Speak to us first.
- Delivery, production and transit estimates are estimates. They are not guaranteed unless IMPERVITA has expressly guaranteed a date in writing for your order. Processing, production and transit are separate stages and do not run at the same time.
- Refund timing starts only once the applicable conditions for an approved refund have been met — which for some products means the return has been received and inspected first. The published processing period runs from that point, and remains subject to your bank or payment provider.
- Manufacturer and supplier warranties differ by product in length, in what they cover, in their exclusions, and in whether commercial use is covered at all.
- IMPERVITA does not promise a broader return, refund or warranty right than the terms applicable to that product, unless IMPERVITA expressly states otherwise in writing.
- Nothing in these policies removes rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Contact IMPERVITA first for any order, delivery, freight-damage, cancellation, return, refund or warranty question. We hold your order record and the terms that were disclosed to you, and we open and track the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf. Please do not approach a manufacturer or supplier directly — it delays the claim, and our suppliers’ service channels are not customer contact points.
Images, descriptions, and dimensions
Product photography, renderings, lifestyle imagery, and written descriptions are representative. Finish, grain, colour, and minor detail vary between units and between screens, and manufacturers revise products over time. Where an exact figure matters — a footprint, a doorway clearance, a voltage, a capacity — the published technical specification for that product is the controlling figure, and an advisor will confirm it in writing before you order.
Errors and omissions
We check what we publish, but this website may still contain inadvertent errors, omissions, or out-of-date information, and we may correct it at any time. Website content never supersedes the manufacturer’s safety documentation. If something here contradicts the manual, follow the manual and tell us so we can fix the page.
Questions about whether a particular system suits your circumstances should go to a qualified healthcare professional. For questions about the equipment itself, contact us.
