Return Policy
Return terms on freight-shipped equipment are set by each manufacturer. The terms applying to your purchase are stated on the product page and confirmed in your order confirmation; where they conflict with anything below, the confirmed terms apply.
Return terms vary by product
To show how far these differ across the catalog: some products are final sale outside a verified defect, with no change-of-mind return at all; others allow an approved return within 30 days of delivery but require written authorisation first, arrive with a restocking fee of up to 25%, and put return freight on the customer. Cancellation windows range from any time before the order is processed for shipping to 48 hours from purchase. Freight-damage reporting deadlines on this site are 5 business days for some products and 7 days for others. Refund processing runs from up to 30 days to 5–10 business days after an approved return has been received and inspected.
None of those figures is a site-wide promise. Check the Delivery, Returns & Warranty Terms section on the product page, and see terms differ by product and by supplier.
Return eligibility varies by product. Certain products may be designated Final Sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Applicable product-specific return, shipping, delivery, installation, and warranty terms are disclosed on the applicable product page before purchase.
Defective products are handled according to the applicable product/manufacturer warranty or defect policy.
IMPERVITA does not apply one return policy to every product. Each product is either returnable under the terms confirmed with your order, or designated Final Sale. Which of the two applies is shown on the product page, carried through your cart and checkout before payment is taken, and recorded on your order. Please review the terms shown for a product before you buy it.
Final Sale products
Where a product is marked Final Sale, it is not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Defective products are handled according to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty/defect policy. A defect does not automatically result in a refund — the remedy available is whatever the applicable warranty provides, which may be repair, replacement, or a part.
Where this applies, the product page carries the following disclosure before purchase:
RETURN POLICY: FINAL SALE
This product is not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Defective products are handled according to the manufacturer’s applicable warranty/defect policy.
Returnable products
Where a product is returnable, the conditions below apply alongside any product-specific terms disclosed before purchase.
- Return requests must be raised with us before any equipment is sent back. Unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
- Equipment must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging unless it is being returned as faulty.
- Made-to-order, custom-configured, and installed equipment is generally non-returnable.
- Return freight and any manufacturer restocking fee are the customer’s responsibility except where the equipment is faulty or was sent in error.
- Faults are handled under the manufacturer warranty rather than as a return.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned equipment has been received and inspected.
Start a return by contacting us before sending anything back. Practical guidance on damage, freight, and what to expect is on the Returns page.
Where the product-specific terms disclosed before purchase differ from the general guidance on this page, the product-specific terms control, subject to applicable law.
