What This Solves
Two things stall an indoor sauna purchase: whether two people will actually fit, and what it will do to the electrics. The Lumin Two answers both. It is built for two, and it is the only cabin in the range with a published wattage - so the circuit can be sized before anything is ordered rather than after it arrives.
Why You’ll Want to Use It
- Sized and specified for two people rather than two at a squeeze.
- The only Lumin with a published output — a 1750W far-infrared system — so you can size the circuit properly.
- Touchscreen control instead of the plain panel on the One and Three.
- Built-in speakers, USB and FM radio, and an oxygen ionizer are fitted as standard.
- 8 mm tempered glass door with a stainless handle, and a ventilation window you can open mid-session.
Why Buyers Choose This Model
- 1750W published. It is the only Lumin cabin with a stated wattage, which makes it the easiest of the three to plan a circuit for with confidence.
- Built for two, so a sauna session is something you do together rather than in turn.
- The full comfort package fitted as standard: touchscreen control, built-in speakers with USB and FM, an oxygen ionizer, a ventilation window and an 8 mm tempered glass door.
- Freestanding indoors - no base, no groundwork, no permanent alteration.
- Specified for 110V and 220V, so it can be matched to the circuit you already have.
What Each Feature Actually Does
- 1750W published wattage
- The electrical draw is documented rather than estimated, so an electrician can confirm your circuit before you commit - the single most common source of post-delivery surprise on any sauna.
- Far-infrared heating
- Warms your body directly rather than heating the room, so the cabin plugs into an ordinary indoor space and reaches usable heat quickly.
- Two-person cabin
- A 47 x 41 in footprint that still seats two, so the sauna becomes a shared habit rather than a solo one.
- Touchscreen control panel
- Temperature, timer and audio in one place instead of a row of buttons.
- Oxygen ionizer and ventilation window
- Keeps the air inside a closed cabin fresh through a longer session.
- 8 mm tempered glass door
- Makes a compact cabin feel open rather than enclosed, which matters more than it sounds if you are inside it for thirty minutes.
- Built-in speakers, USB and FM
- Audio is part of the cabin, not a phone balanced on a bench.

Technology
Infrared saunas heat you rather than the air around you. Emitters in the cabin walls radiate far-infrared energy that your body absorbs directly, so the cabin runs at a much lower air temperature than a traditional sauna while still raising skin and core temperature. That is why an infrared cabin plugs into an ordinary room and reaches temperature quickly, and why the experience feels milder and drier than heater-and-stones heat. The manufacturer publishes a 1750W far-infrared system for the Lumin Two and specifies it for 110V and 220V supplies. It is the only cabin in the Lumin range with a published wattage, which makes it the easiest of the three to size a circuit for. Confirm the circuit at your property with an IMPERVITA Wellness Advisor before ordering — the cabin plugs in, but a dedicated circuit is still the sensible way to run it.
Choosing Between the Models
Choose the Lumin Two if two people will use it and you want the electrical specification settled up front - it is the only cabin in the range with a published wattage, and it is the only one that includes the touchscreen, audio and ionizer package. The Lumin One is smaller and $2,000 less if it is mostly one person. The Lumin Three is longer at 60 in and seats three. For humid, steam-capable heat rather than infrared, look at the Auris traditional cabins.

FAQ
What is the real difference between the Lumin One and the Lumin Two?
Capacity and specification. The Two is rated for two people, adds roughly two inches of internal length, and is the only cabin in the range with a published output (1750W). It also swaps the plain digital panel for a touchscreen and adds speakers, USB/FM radio and an oxygen ionizer as standard. If two people will use it regularly, the Two is the honest recommendation.
Is 1750W a lot to run?
It is comparable to a domestic kettle or a large hair dryer, drawing roughly 15A on a 110V supply. That is enough that it should not share a circuit with other significant loads. Confirm the circuit with a licensed electrician before delivery.
Does the oxygen ionizer need consumables?
The manufacturer does not publish a service interval or replacement part for the ionizer. Rather than invent one, an advisor requests the maintenance detail from the manufacturer before you order.
Can two adults sit comfortably?
Yes — it is specified for two and the internal length is set for two seated side by side. For three, move up to the Lumin Three, which is a materially wider cabin.
What maintenance does it need?
Wipe the benches and floor down after use and let the cabin air with the door open; hemlock should be left unsealed. Keep the glass clean with a non-abrasive cleaner. Follow the manufacturer's supplied setup and maintenance instructions — departing from them affects the warranty.
How is it delivered?
Freight to a kerbside appointment at 985 lb crated. Measure doorways, turns and stairs on your access route before delivery day.

Why the Lumin Two
If two people are going to use a sauna regularly, a cabin rated for “1–2” quietly becomes a cabin used by one. The Lumin Two is the model in the range actually specified for two, and the extra internal length is the difference between two people sitting in a sauna and two people enduring one.
It is also the best-documented cabin the manufacturer publishes. It is the only Lumin with a stated output — a 1750W far-infrared system — which makes it the only one you can size a circuit for without asking the manufacturer first. The touchscreen, the ventilation window, the speakers with USB and FM radio, the oxygen ionizer and the 8 mm tempered glass door are all fitted as standard rather than offered as options.
Compare the Lumin models

Who it suits — and who it does not
It suits two regular users, buyers who want the specification settled before they order, and anyone who wants the audio and air-treatment features without paying for the largest cabin.
It does not suit three people at once — that is the Lumin Three — or a buyer who only ever uses it alone, where the Lumin One does the same job for two thousand dollars less.
Residential and commercial use
Specified for residential use. the standard manufacturer warranty excludes commercial use unless separately agreed, so gyms, studios, clinics, hotels and rental properties need different terms — speak to IMPERVITA PRO before ordering rather than after.
What to settle before you buy
The room itself
Allow the cabin footprint plus clearance to open the door and room to walk past it. The cabin needs a level, solid floor and a little breathing space around it for airflow. Bear in mind these are heavy — check the floor if it is going anywhere other than a ground floor or a slab.
The circuit
This is the one Lumin where you can plan properly in advance: 1750W at 110V is roughly 15A, comparable to a large kettle running continuously for the length of your session. That is enough that it should not share a circuit with other significant loads. Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit before delivery.
The ionizer
The manufacturer does not publish a service interval or a replacement part for the oxygen ionizer. If long-term consumable cost matters to you, ask an advisor to obtain the maintenance detail from the manufacturer before you order rather than discovering it later.
Access and assembly
Cabins of this type ship as flat panels and are assembled in the room, so the finished dimensions are not the constraint — the panels and the crate are. Freight delivery is to a kerbside appointment. Measure doorways, stair widths, turns and lift dimensions on the route, and confirm crate sizes with an advisor before ordering.
Installation
Delivered by freight to a kerbside appointment for customer placement and plug-in set-up. The manufacturer does not offer its professional installation service on the Lumin range, so assembly and siting are yours to arrange. An advisor will walk the room and the access route with you beforehand.
Maintenance
Very little. Wipe the benches and floor down after use and leave the door open so the cabin dries; hemlock is left unsealed and will change tone slightly over time, which is normal and excluded from warranty cover as a defect. Keep the glass clean with a non-abrasive cleaner, and keep the emitters clear of towels and clothing. Follow the manufacturer’s supplied setup and maintenance instructions — departing from them affects your cover.
Shipping and lead time
Every unit in these ranges is made to order, so the lead time is production time rather than a warehouse pick. The manufacturer currently quotes approximately 15–30 business days for this range. We confirm the current window when your order is placed, and we will not give you a fixed arrival date we cannot stand behind.
Delivery is by freight carrier to a scheduled kerbside appointment. Shipping to the continental United States is included in the price shown. Read our shipping and delivery terms.
Warranty
The manufacturer provides a 1-year limited warranty on the Lumin collection, covering the infrared heating panels, control systems, wood structure and electrical components in normal residential use. Cover begins when you receive the product.
What is not covered: Normal wear, discolouration or changes in wood appearance over time; improper installation or failure to follow the setup and maintenance instructions; misuse or neglect; unauthorised modification or repair; commercial use unless separately agreed; and damage from weather, fire, flood, pests or power surges.
Warranty cover applies to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and requires proof of purchase. IMPERVITA handles the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf — you do not chase the manufacturer yourself. Warranty information.
Returns and transit damage
Freight damage is the one thing worth being strict about. Inspect the crate before the driver leaves, photograph anything that looks wrong, and note it on the delivery paperwork. Report damage or a defect within 7 days of delivery, with photographs, before installation.
Outside of defect and transit-damage claims, the manufacturer treats made-to-order units as final sale. That is precisely why we would rather talk the specification through with you first. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Read our returns policy.
Sauna and cold plunge together
Most people who buy an Auris or Lumin sauna are building toward the same thing: heat and cold in one place, so a contrast session does not depend on a gym timetable. The Frost Cold Plunge is the cold half of that set-up.
Plan the two as one project rather than two purchases. The things that catch people out are practical, not technical:
- Layout and sequencing — how far you walk between hot and cold, wet, in bare feet.
- Power — two appliances, two loads. Establish what each needs before either is delivered.
- Water and drainage — where the plunge empties to, and whether that point is where you want the tub.
- Delivery — two freight deliveries, two access routes, ideally not on the same afternoon.
- Maintenance — a plunge needs regular attention; a sauna needs very little. Be honest about that upfront.
We do not sell a discounted bundle for this. What we do instead is plan it with you — build your recovery room or speak with an advisor and we will sequence it properly.
What the research actually looks at
Infrared and traditional saunas are different exposures — different temperatures, different durations, different mechanisms — so findings from one do not automatically transfer to the other. Evidence varies by protocol, population, temperature and technology, and none of it establishes that this product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition. We publish the papers so you can read them yourself.
