Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to the use of this website and to orders placed with IMPERVITA.
Who we are
IMPERVITA is a retailer of recovery, wellness, and longevity technology. We do not manufacture the equipment we sell. Product specifications, warranties, and return terms originate with the manufacturer and are reproduced here in good faith.
Orders and pricing
- An order is an offer to purchase and is accepted when we confirm it in writing.
- Prices, availability, lead times, and published specifications can change where we are permitted to change them. A confirmed order remains governed by the terms confirmed with that order.
- Some products are sold through a specialist rather than online checkout; pricing for those is quoted directly.
- Where a manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price, we observe it.
- If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price or specification because of an error, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full rather than fulfil it.
Delivery, returns, and warranty
Delivery, return, and warranty terms are set out on the Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Warranty Information pages, and on each product page where they differ by manufacturer.
Those terms are not uniform across the catalog. Return eligibility, shipping charges, delivery method, installation, and warranty are set per product: some products are returnable and others are sold as Final Sale, and shipping may be a product-specific flat charge, included in the price, or quoted for your address. The terms applying to a product are disclosed on the product page before purchase and recorded on your order. Where those product-specific terms differ from the general guidance on our policy pages, the product-specific terms control, subject to applicable law.
Site readiness and installation
Before a product is delivered, installed, or operated, you are responsible for confirming that it is suitable for your intended location and use, and that the site can actually take it. Where applicable, that means confirming in advance:
- Electrical — voltage, amperage, circuit type, dedicated circuit and breaker requirements, GFCI protection, outlet type and position, and whether a licensed electrician is needed.
- Plumbing and drainage — fill and drain provision, water supply, drainage fall, and any waterproofing or containment the room needs.
- Ventilation and environment — airflow, humidity, heat dissipation, ambient temperature range, and whether the location is rated for indoor or outdoor placement.
- Structural support — floor loading for the filled or occupied weight, foundation, pad, or deck suitability, and any engineering sign-off your building requires.
- Clearances — the manufacturer’s required clearance around, above, and behind the unit, including service access.
- Delivery access — the full route from the street to the final position: driveway, gate, path, doorway, stair turn, lift, ceiling height, and anything that has to be removed to get the crate through.
- Permits and local rules — any permit, inspection, code requirement, HOA rule, or tenancy condition that applies where you are.
Where installation is required by the manufacturer, by local code, or is otherwise reasonably appropriate, it must be carried out by a suitably qualified professional. An advisor will walk through the site requirements with you before you order, and we will tell you what we know — but confirming the site itself is your responsibility, and we cannot inspect it for you.
Commercial and professional use
Most of the equipment we sell is warranted for residential use only. Commercial, clinical, studio, gym, hospitality, rental, or other multi-user or fee-charging use is covered only where the specific product and its manufacturer expressly support it, and only on the terms that manufacturer sets — which may include a different warranty period, a different price, or additional conditions.
Using a residential-rated product commercially will usually void the manufacturer’s warranty entirely. If the equipment is for a commercial setting, tell us before you order so we can confirm what the manufacturer supports. Commercial operators are also responsible for their own supervision, signage, screening, staff training, insurance, and regulatory obligations. See IMPERVITA PRO.
Product information, images, and specifications
Product photography, renderings, and written descriptions are representative. Colour, grain, finish, and minor detail vary between units and between screens, and manufacturers revise products over time. Where an exact figure matters, the published technical specification for that product is the controlling figure and will be confirmed before you order.
This website may contain inadvertent errors or omissions, and we may correct them at any time. Nothing on this site supersedes the manufacturer’s safety documentation, specifications, or operating instructions, which control actual product operation.
Limits of our responsibility
IMPERVITA is responsible for supplying the equipment you ordered on the terms confirmed with your order, and for the obligations the law places on us as a seller. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law, excludes liability for fraud, or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Subject to that, IMPERVITA is not responsible for loss or damage — to the equipment, to persons, or to property — caused by:
- Improper, incomplete, or unqualified installation, or installation not carried out to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Incorrect or inadequate site preparation, including foundation, flooring, waterproofing, drainage, or ventilation.
- Incompatible or inadequate electrical or plumbing infrastructure, including undersized circuits, unsuitable outlets, missing GFCI protection, or unstable supply.
- Unauthorised modification, alteration, or repair of the equipment, or fitting of parts the manufacturer has not approved.
- Misuse, neglect, failure to follow the operating instructions, or failure to carry out the required maintenance, cleaning, or water treatment.
- Operation outside the manufacturer’s published specifications, including exceeding stated session times, temperature ranges, weight limits, occupancy, or duty cycles.
- Use by a person for whom the manufacturer’s documentation indicates the product is not suitable, or use against the advice of a healthcare professional.
- Commercial use of a product the manufacturer warrants for residential use only.
- Weather, flood, fire, pests, power events, freezing, or other external causes outside our control.
We are also not responsible for the acts or omissions of a third party you engage directly — for example your own electrician, plumber, contractor, or installer.
