What This Solves
A sauna habit dies on logistics. The gym slot is taken, the spa is a drive away, the cabin is shared, and the session you wanted at 7am happens at nobody-knows-when. Owning one moves the sauna to the end of your garden - and if you want the real thing rather than an infrared cabin, this is the smallest traditional sauna the manufacturer builds.
Why You’ll Want to Use It
- Seats one or two people comfortably without committing a large part of the garden to it.
- Traditional heater-and-stones heat, so you control the humidity by how much water you pour.
- Natural red cedar throughout — dimensionally stable outdoors and pleasant to sit against at temperature.
- Arrives with a wooden bucket and ladle kit, so the first session does not need a second order.
- Commonly used as the heat half of a contrast routine alongside a cold plunge.
Why Buyers Choose This Model
- Heater-and-stones heat, not infrared. Pouring water over the stones lifts humidity for a short, sharper burst - the part of a traditional sauna an infrared cabin cannot reproduce.
- The smallest footprint in the traditional range at 44 in wide, so a courtyard or deck is enough.
- Natural red cedar, which handles outdoor temperature and moisture cycling better than most timbers.
- A 5-year limited warranty - the longest cover of any sauna we carry.
- Configured to your property before it ships: a 4.5 kW Harvia KIP heater is offered as a configured option, and an advisor confirms the heater and supply pairing with you in writing before the order is placed.
What Each Feature Actually Does
- Traditional heater with stones
- Produces the humid heat and steam burst that defines a real sauna. An infrared cabin runs cooler and drier and cannot make steam at all.
- Natural red cedar
- Dimensionally stable and naturally resistant to moisture, which is what keeps an outdoor cabin serviceable through years of heat and weather cycling.
- 1-2 person size
- Reaches temperature faster and costs less to run than a cabin sized for four, which is what makes near-daily use realistic.
- 5-year limited warranty
- Five times the cover of the infrared cabins in our range, on the product with the highest entry price.
- Multi-voltage specification
- Specified for 380V, 220-240V and 110V, so the cabin can be matched to what your property actually has rather than the other way round.
- Wooden bucket full kit included
- The ladle and bucket needed to use the stones properly arrive with the cabin, not as a later purchase.

Technology
The Auris One is a traditional sauna: an electric heater holds a bed of stones at temperature, and the cabin heats by convection and radiant heat from those stones. Pouring water over them raises humidity for a short, sharper burst of heat — the part an infrared cabin cannot reproduce. The manufacturer offers the Auris One with a 4.5 kW Harvia KIP electric heater as a configured option, and the cabin is specified for 380V, 220–240V and 110V supplies. Because the correct heater and supply pairing depends on the circuit at your property, confirm the configuration with an IMPERVITA Wellness Advisor before ordering.
Choosing Between the Models
Choose the Auris One if you want a genuine traditional sauna and one or two people will use it. For three or four people, or for a wood-burning configuration, the Auris Two is the larger cabin. If you want heat therapy indoors without a prepared base or outdoor power, the Lumin infrared cabins start at $7,999 and plug into an ordinary room - they are a different experience, not a cheaper version of this one. The Eldvik is the outdoor cabin for two at a much lower price, but it is infrared rather than heater-and-stones.
Still weighing two models? Talk it through with an advisor - no obligation, and no pressure to decide on the call.

FAQ
Does the Auris One include a heater?
The manufacturer lists the heater as a selectable configuration rather than a fixed inclusion, and offers a 4.5 kW Harvia KIP electric heater as a configured option. Because a sauna is unusable without a heater, confirm the exact heater and electrical configuration for your order with an IMPERVITA Wellness Advisor before you buy.
Is a wood-burning heater available for the Auris One?
The manufacturer's product copy refers to electric and wood-burning heating, but the only heater currently published as a selectable option is the electric Harvia unit. A wood-burning configuration is confirmed only once the manufacturer has documented it for your build, and an advisor will put that to them before your order is placed. Ask an advisor and we will put the question to the manufacturer in writing.
What electrical supply does it need?
The manufacturer specifies the Auris One for 380V, 220–240V and 110V. The correct supply depends on the heater fitted, so the configuration is confirmed before the order is placed. Any new circuit or outdoor supply is separate electrical work arranged by you.
What base does it need?
A level, load-bearing base sized for the cabin's 44" × 31" footprint and its 992 lb weight. The manufacturer does not publish a foundation specification, so confirm your base with an advisor before ordering.
Can I use it commercially?
The standard manufacturer warranty excludes commercial use unless a separate commercial agreement is in place. If this is for a gym, studio, clinic or rental property, speak to IMPERVITA PRO first.
How long will it take to arrive?
The manufacturer quotes approximately 15–65 business days for the Auris range, depending on availability and carrier. We confirm the current window when the order is placed and will not promise a fixed arrival date.

Why the Auris One
Most people looking at an outdoor sauna have already decided they want one. The hard part is choosing a size they will not regret — and almost every buyer over-buys. A four-person cabin used by one person is a bigger base, a bigger heater, a bigger footprint and a longer heat-up for no additional benefit.
The Auris One exists for the buyer who is honest about that. At 44 inches wide and 31 deep it takes a corner of a garden rather than a quarter of it, and it is a genuine traditional sauna — heater, stones, and water you pour yourself — rather than an infrared cabin wearing cedar. If one or two people will use it, this is the cabin that fits the actual use.
Compare the Auris models
There are two cabins in the Auris range and the decision between them is mostly about how many people will realistically be in it at once — and how much garden you are willing to give up.

Who it suits — and who it does not
It suits couples and solo bathers, gardens where space is genuinely limited, and anyone who wants traditional steam-and-stones heat at home.
It does not suit households who want to sit in it together as a group — the Auris Two is the honest answer there — or anyone who needs the sauna indoors, where a Lumin infrared cabin is the right product instead.
Residential and commercial use
The Auris One is specified for residential use, and the standard manufacturer warranty specifically excludes commercial use unless a separate commercial agreement is in place. If this is destined for a gym, studio, clinic, rental or hospitality setting, do not buy it on this page — talk to IMPERVITA PRO and we will arrange the correct commercial terms first.
What to settle before you buy
Four things decide whether this purchase goes smoothly. None of them are about the sauna.
1. The heater configuration
This is the single most important thing to confirm, and we would rather flag it than let you find out later. The manufacturer lists the heater as a selectable configuration on the Auris One rather than a fixed inclusion, offering a 4.5 kW Harvia KIP electric heater as a configured option. A sauna without a heater is a cedar room. Confirm exactly what your order includes with an advisor before you place it — we will get it in writing from the manufacturer.
2. The base
992 pounds, on a 44 by 31 inch footprint. It needs a level, load-bearing base — a slab, a properly built deck, or compacted and levelled ground with a suitable pad. The manufacturer does not publish a foundation specification, so we will not invent one; send an advisor a photograph and the dimensions of where you intend to put it.
3. The electrical supply
The manufacturer specifies the cabin for 380V, 220–240V and 110V, and the right one depends on the heater fitted. Any new outdoor circuit is separate electrical work, arranged and paid for by you, and it is not included in the price or in the optional installation service. Get a licensed electrician to quote it before you order, not after the cabin arrives.
4. The access route
It ships by freight to a kerbside appointment. Between the kerb and the base there may be a side gate, a step, a slope or a corner. Measure it. This is the most common cause of an expensive delivery-day problem, and it is entirely avoidable.
Installation and white-glove service
Optional White-Glove Professional Installation — $4,000. Available in the United States and Canada. Scope, site access, product requirements and scheduling are confirmed prior to fulfilment.
We are deliberately not publishing a list of what that fee includes. The manufacturer offers the service and prices it, but has not published a documented scope, and we will not invent one for you. In particular, do not assume it covers electrical work, a dedicated circuit, groundwork or base construction, permits, crane or specialist access, or removal of an existing structure. If any of those matter to you, ask an advisor to confirm the scope in writing with the manufacturer before you add it.
Without the service, delivery is kerbside and siting and assembly are yours to arrange.
Maintenance
Traditional saunas are low-maintenance by nature. Air the cabin after use, sweep and wipe the benches, and leave the cedar unsealed — it will silver over time outdoors, which is normal and specifically excluded from warranty cover as a defect. Keep the stones stacked so air moves through them, and replace any that crumble. Follow the maintenance instructions supplied with the unit; departing from them affects your cover.
Shipping and lead time
Every unit in these ranges is made to order, so the lead time is production time rather than a warehouse pick. The manufacturer currently quotes approximately 15–65 business days for this range. We confirm the current window when your order is placed, and we will not give you a fixed arrival date we cannot stand behind.
Delivery is by freight carrier to a scheduled kerbside appointment. Shipping to the continental United States is included in the price shown. Read our shipping and delivery terms.
Warranty
The manufacturer provides a 5-year limited warranty on the Auris collection, covering structural components, heaters, electrical systems and interior fittings in normal residential use. Cover begins when you receive the product.
What is not covered: Normal wear, discolouration or changes in wood appearance over time; improper installation or failure to follow the setup and maintenance instructions; misuse or neglect; unauthorised modification or repair; commercial use unless separately agreed; and damage from weather, fire, flood, pests or power surges.
Warranty cover applies to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and requires proof of purchase. IMPERVITA handles the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf — you do not chase the manufacturer yourself. Warranty information.
Returns and transit damage
Freight damage is the one thing worth being strict about. Inspect the crate before the driver leaves, photograph anything that looks wrong, and note it on the delivery paperwork. Report damage or a defect within 7 days of delivery, with photographs, before installation.
Outside of defect and transit-damage claims, the manufacturer treats made-to-order units as final sale. That is precisely why we would rather talk the specification through with you first. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Read our returns policy.
Sauna and cold plunge together
Most people who buy an Auris or Lumin sauna are building toward the same thing: heat and cold in one place, so a contrast session does not depend on a gym timetable. The Frost Cold Plunge is the cold half of that set-up.
Plan the two as one project rather than two purchases. The things that catch people out are practical, not technical:
- Layout and sequencing — how far you walk between hot and cold, wet, in bare feet.
- Power — two appliances, two loads. Establish what each needs before either is delivered.
- Water and drainage — where the plunge empties to, and whether that point is where you want the tub.
- Delivery — two freight deliveries, two access routes, ideally not on the same afternoon.
- Maintenance — a plunge needs regular attention; a sauna needs very little. Be honest about that upfront.
We do not sell a discounted bundle for this. What we do instead is plan it with you — build your recovery room or speak with an advisor and we will sequence it properly.
What the research actually looks at
Much of the sauna literature studies Finnish-style dry sauna bathing in cohort settings. That is the closest research context to a traditional cedar cabin like this one, but a study population is not a product claim. Evidence varies by protocol, population, temperature and technology, and none of it establishes that this product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition. We publish the papers so you can read them yourself.
